Paul’s Revelation by Tyrone Singh
Few truths in the New Testament are as life-changing as the revelation given to the Apostle Paul. To understand who we are in Christ and how redemption truly works, we must understand the mystery God hid for ages and has now revealed to the Church. Paul declares that a mystery, hidden from generations, has now been revealed to the saints: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
Paul’s Revelation: The Mystery Revealed
Few truths in the New Testament are as life-changing as the revelation given to the Apostle Paul. To understand who we are in Christ and how redemption truly works, we must understand the mystery God hid for ages and has now revealed to the Church.
Christianity is not just about what Jesus did for us—but what God accomplished in us and as us through Christ.
The Mystery Now Made Known
Paul declares that a mystery, hidden from generations, has now been revealed to the saints:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
God’s plan was not only forgiveness, but union. Redemption is God coming to live inside man, creating a new reality from within.
A New Creation Reality
Paul reveals that Christianity is not a self-improvement path but a new creation.
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
The believer is not a forgiven sinner trying to become righteous—but a new creation born of God’s life.
Identification: What Christ Did, He Did as Us
Paul teaches identification with Christ:
Crucified with Him
Buried with Him
Raised with Him
Seated with Him (Ephesians 2:6)
Faith rests when this is understood. We stop striving to become and start living from what is already finished.
Righteousness as a Gift
Righteousness is not earned—it is received.
“We are made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Right standing with God is a gift flowing from union, not performance. When righteousness is revealed, faith becomes bold and free.
Why This Revelation Matters
Paul’s revelation changes everything:
Union instead of separation
Victory instead of struggle
Authority instead of weakness
Life instead of striving
Christianity is not behavior management—it is Christ living His life through us.
