The Power of Acknowledging Every Good Thing in You

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” – Philemon 1:6 (KJV)

Have you ever wondered how to make your faith truly effective? Philemon 1:6 gives us the key: acknowledging every good thing that is in you in Christ.

The word “acknowledge” means:

  1. To accept or admit the existence or truth of something.

  2. To recognize the importance or quality of something.

When we begin to recognize, confess, and accept every good thing God has placed in us through Christ, something powerful happens—our faith is activated. It’s no longer dormant or intellectual. It becomes alive, vibrant, and effectual.

Why is this so important? Because your faith isn’t just a belief system—it’s a spiritual force. And when it’s activated, it empowers you to walk in the will of God, to think like Christ, and to overcome the world.

Your words matter. That’s why it's powerful to speak biblical truth over yourself daily—out loud, clearly, and with full belief. As you do, your mind is renewed, your spirit is strengthened, and your identity in Christ is cemented.

Seven Daily Faith Confessions

Here are seven declarations to help you walk in the fullness of who you are in Christ. Let these confessions become part of your daily rhythm. Speak them aloud, and watch how your faith begins to soar.

  1. I acknowledge I am a Son of God.
I have been born of God and I carry His divine DNA. I am not ordinary—I am His.

  2. I acknowledge I am Anointed by God.
I have been called, positioned, and commissioned for His purposes. I walk in divine authority.

  3. I acknowledge I am Blessed with every spiritual blessing.
I lack nothing. Everything I will ever need has already been provided in Christ.

  4. I acknowledge I am Healed and free from all sickness, disease, and pain.
Sickness cannot stay in my body. When it touches me, it dies—because I carry the life of Christ.

  5. I acknowledge I am the Righteousness of God.
I’ve been made right with God—not by my works, but through the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

  6. I acknowledge I am Satan’s master.
I have complete dominion over the enemy, his demons, and every dark work. I walk in victory.

  7. I acknowledge I am Victorious with the victory of Jesus Christ.
Every battle I face—whether for myself or others—I win, because Jesus has already overcome.

Final Encouragement:

You don’t need to work for what God has already given you. You need to acknowledge it.

So today, and every day, begin with the truth of who you are in Christ. Declare it. Meditate on it. Walk in it. As you do, your faith will become effectual, and your life will reflect the power and beauty of your identity in Him.
