The Only Proof You Need That You Are Healed Is the Word of God
The Only Proof You Need That You Are Healed Is the Word of God By Tyrone Singh
There was a time in my walk with God where I thought healing would only become “real” once I felt different physically.
I believed the symptoms disappearing would prove I was healed.
I thought the doctor’s report would confirm it.
I thought my body changing would be the evidence.
But as I began to study the Word of God, the Holy Spirit showed me something that completely changed my perspective:
The Word of God is the only proof you need that you are healed.
Not because symptoms have gone.
Not because the report changed.
Not because you suddenly feel better.
But because God has already spoken.
That changed everything for me.
Maybe you’re asking:
“How can I say I’m healed if I still feel symptoms?”
“How can I believe when the report says otherwise?”
Let me show you something powerful from Scripture.
What Is Faith Really Standing On?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
Faith has evidence.
But faith’s evidence is not physical proof.
Faith’s evidence is what God said.
The world says:
“I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Faith says:
“I believe it because God said it.”
That is a completely different way of living.
And this is where many believers struggle.
They are waiting for physical proof before they believe the Word.
But God never told us to walk by sight.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Sight includes more than just what your eyes see.
It includes:
Feelings.
Symptoms.
Reports.
Circumstances.
Natural evidence.
Faith does not deny facts exist.
But faith refuses to let facts have the final authority over God’s Word.
God’s Word Is Higher Than Human Evidence
There is nothing wrong with doctors.
There is nothing wrong with medical reports.
But they do not have the final word.
God does.
A doctor’s report can only report what is present naturally.
But God’s Word reveals what has already been provided spiritually through Christ.
“By whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24
Notice that:
Were healed.
Not going to be healed.
Not maybe healed.
Were healed.
That means healing is not merely a future possibility for the believer.
It is an established provision in Christ.
The Word of God is heaven’s report concerning your body.
Symptoms Are Not the Truth
One of the greatest things I learned was this:
Symptoms may be facts — but facts can change.
Truth never changes.
You can have symptoms in your body and still stand on the truth of God’s Word.
Why?
Because symptoms do not determine reality.
God’s Word does.
Jesus said:
“Thy word is truth.” — John 17:17
Symptoms are temporary.
God’s Word is eternal.
The enemy wants believers to build their faith around what they feel.
But faith is not moved by feelings.
Faith is moved by what God has spoken.
Faith Takes God at His Word
Real faith comes to this conclusion:
“If God said I am healed, then His Word is enough.”
Even before you see change.
Even before you feel improvement.
Even before circumstances line up.
That is not denial.
That is faith.
Abraham operated this way.
“He considered not his own body now dead…” — Romans 4:19
Abraham did not ignore reality.
He simply refused to let natural circumstances become greater than God’s promise.
That is how faith functions.
Faith does not exalt symptoms above Scripture.
Healing Must Be Received by Faith
Many people are waiting for healing to happen before they believe.
But Scripture teaches the opposite.
Jesus constantly said:
“According to your faith be it unto you.”
“Only believe.”
“Fear not.”
Healing belongs to us through redemption, but faith receives what grace has already provided.
This changed my prayer life.
I stopped begging God to heal me.
I started thanking Him for what Jesus had already accomplished.
I stopped asking God for proof.
I realized His Word already was the proof.
Stand on the Report of the Lord
Whose report will you believe?
The doctor’s report does not prove you are healed.
Symptoms disappearing does not prove you are healed.
How your body feels does not prove you are healed.
The Word of God is your proof.
And when you continue standing on the Word, speaking the Word, meditating on the Word, and refusing to let go of the Word, faith rises strong in your heart.
Remember:
We walk by faith and not by sight.
Not by symptoms.
Not by feelings.
Not by reports. By faith.
And faith stands on what God has said.
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your Word.
Thank You that Your Word is truth and cannot fail.
Help me to stand firm on what You have spoken, regardless of what I see or feel.
Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight.
I choose to believe Your report above every other report.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
