Who was Frederick K. C. Price?
Who was Frederick K. C. Price? By Tyrone Singh
Frederick K. C. Price (1932–2021) was one of the most influential teachers of faith in the 20th century—a man whose ministry helped restore the understanding that God’s Word is not just to be believed, but to be applied with results.
Born in Santa Monica in 1932, Price did not begin with a deep spiritual foundation. His early life was marked more by questions than clarity, and like many, he searched for answers in different places.
But everything changed when he encountered the truth of God’s Word.
Not as religion…
but as reality.
As he began to study the Scriptures, light came—particularly concerning faith, authority, and God’s provision. He saw that the Christian life was never meant to be lived in defeat, limitation, or uncertainty.
It was meant to be lived with understanding.
With confidence.
With results.
But his journey into ministry was not without opposition.
There were seasons of criticism, misunderstanding, and resistance—especially as he began to teach boldly on faith, prosperity, and the authority of the believer.
Many challenged his message.
Some rejected it outright.
Yet he remained convinced:
If it’s in the Word—
it must be true.
And if it’s true—
it must work.
Out of that place, something deeper was formed.
A conviction—not based on opinion… but revelation.
And that’s where everything became clear.
Price came to a place where he settled the integrity of God’s Word in his heart. He didn’t just believe parts of it—he believed all of it. Not as theory, but as a living reality that could be trusted in every area of life.
From that point on, his ministry carried a distinct mark:
Clarity in the Word of God.
He did not present himself as the source.
In fact, he continually pointed people back to the Word.
His message was simple:
God’s Word works—when it is believed and acted upon.
His meetings were not built on emotionalism—but on teaching.
Line upon line.
Precept upon precept.
As he taught, something would happen.
Understanding would come.
Faith would rise.
Lives would change.
People were not just inspired…
they were equipped.
Sickness was challenged.
Poverty mindsets were broken.
Believers began to walk in authority.
Not through hype—
but through revelation of the Word.
His ministry reached thousands through what became Crenshaw Christian Center, and through his global broadcast, Ever Increasing Faith, which carried his teaching around the world.
What made his ministry unique was not just the message—
It was his boldness.
He refused to dilute truth.
He refused to conform to religious expectations.
He refused to back down from what he saw in Scripture.
Everything was anchored.
Everything was deliberate.
His message was clear:
You cannot separate faith from action.
You cannot separate belief from results.
Over the years, countless testimonies came through his teaching—people transformed, renewed in their thinking, and established in the reality of God’s provision and power.
Frederick K. C. Price went home to be with the Lord in 2021.
But his message still stands:
Faith is not passive—
faith acts on what God has said.
A PERSONAL REFLECTION
What stands out to me about Frederick K. C. Price is his conviction.
He wasn’t trying to sound right—
He was persuaded.
He understood something many overlook:
Clarity produces confidence.
He didn’t speak with uncertainty.
He didn’t teach with hesitation.
He believed the Word—fully.
And that challenges me.
Because it’s easy to agree with Scripture…
but not fully commit to it.
To believe in theory…
but hesitate in practice.
But faith doesn’t live in hesitation.
Faith acts.
Price’s life asks a direct question:
Do I believe the Word enough to act on it—regardless of what I see?
Because that’s where the results are.
PRAYER
Father,
Thank You for Your Word—sure, unchanging, and full of power.
Thank You for men like Frederick K. C. Price, who taught us to stand on Your Word with clarity and conviction.
Lord, take me deeper than surface-level belief.
Establish me in truth.
Where there is uncertainty, bring clarity.
Where there is doubt, bring conviction.
Where there is passivity, stir me to action.
Teach me to not only hear Your Word—
but to live it.
To believe it fully.
To speak it boldly.
To act on it without hesitation.
Holy Spirit, make Your Word alive in me.
Turn truth into revelation—
and revelation into a life that produces fruit.
Let my life reflect a living faith—
A faith that believes,
a faith that speaks,
a faith that acts.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
