What Happened from the Cross to the Throne -Tyrone Singh

What Happened from the Cross to the Throne By Tyrone Singh

There was a time in my walk with God when I only understood what happened on the Cross—but I hadn’t yet seen the full picture of what happened after the Cross and before the Throne. But when the Holy Spirit began to open my eyes through the Word, I realized something powerful: Redemption didn’t end at the Cross—it was completed through the resurrection and the victory that followed. Let me walk you through what the Scriptures reveal.

1. Jesus Was Made Sin for Us

2 Corinthians 5:21 — “He hath made him to be sin for us… that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Jesus didn’t just carry sin—He became our substitute completely.

He took our sin nature so that we could receive His righteousness.
What Adam brought in, Jesus took upon Himself—so that what belongs to Him could now belong to us.

2. Jesus Experienced Spiritual Death (Separation)

Matthew 27:46 — “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

This was more than physical suffering.

This was spiritual death—separation from the Father.

Jesus entered into the very condition fallen man was in.
He didn’t just die for us—He died as us.

3. Jesus Entered the Realm of the Dead

Acts 2:27 — “Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell…”
Ephesians 4:9 — “…he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth.”

Jesus went into the realm of the dead to fully pay the penalty of sin.

Redemption was still unfolding.
The Cross was not the end—it was the doorway.

4. Jesus Was Made Alive (The Firstborn from the Dead)

1 Peter 3:18 — “…put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”
Acts 13:33 — “Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.”

Jesus was made alive in the Spirit.

He became the firstborn from the dead (Colossians 1:18).

This is not about Him becoming sinful—this is about Him coming out of death into resurrection life.

And here’s the power of it:
What happened to Him now becomes available to us.

5. Jesus Defeated Satan and All Powers of Darkness

Colossians 2:15 — “Having spoiled principalities and powers…”
Hebrews 2:14 — “…that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.”

In the realm of darkness, Jesus didn’t suffer defeat—He enforced victory.

He:

  • Stripped Satan of authority

  • Broke his dominion

  • Publicly triumphed over every power of darkness

The enemy that once held mankind captive was completely defeated.

6. Jesus Was Justified (Declared Righteous)

1 Timothy 3:16 — “…justified in the Spirit…”
Romans 4:25 — “…raised again for our justification.”

After bearing sin, Jesus was declared righteous.

This was heaven’s declaration that:
The price is paid. The work is accepted. Redemption is complete.

And here’s the revelation—
His justification guarantees yours.

7. Jesus Was Raised and Exalted to the Throne

Ephesians 1:20–21 — “…raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand…”
Philippians 2:9–11 — “God also hath highly exalted him…”

Jesus:

  • Rose in victory

  • Ascended in glory

  • Sat down in authority

And this is where it becomes personal:

Ephesians 2:6 — “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

You are not trying to get victory. You are seated in it.

Final Thought

What happened from the Cross to the Throne is not just theology—it is your reality.

Jesus didn’t go through all of this just to be admired—
He did it to be reproduced in us.

You are:

  • Righteous

  • Redeemed

  • Victorious

  • Seated with Christ

Now it’s time to live like it.

Training for Reigning.
